This 285,000 square foot industrial building is situated on 6.2 acres at 70 Innerbelt Road, Somerville, MA. After purchasing the property from Filene’s Basement, Cathartes developed the second floor as telecommunications space, implementing upgrades including bringing 11 fiber carriers to the area to substantially increase the power capacity to enable the facility to be used for the telecom market. The entire first floor was leased to Hannaford Brothers. Upon completion of the project, Cathartes sold the property to a public REIT.
